About:
TRON: Evolution is a sci-fi action game as part of the Tron franchise. Developed by n-Space and published by Disney Interactive Studios, it ties into the events surrounding the film TRON: Legacy. The DS version features stylus-assisted combat, light cycle battles, and a top-down perspective distinct from the other releases. Players battle enemies inside the digital Grid while progressing through story-driven missions and multiplayer modes.
Story:
The game takes place in 1985 rather than 1989. There is a rookie System Monitor, working under monitor Doran and Tron. The protagonist is one of the few programs with the ability to change the color of their circuitry, which is used to solve several puzzles. The game's story is about power outages across the whole system, affecting the Core and Arjia City, with the power fluctuations causing malfunctioning programs and utilities. The protagonist works with Tron, system monitor Doran, chief engineer Odion, Radia, and Gibson to find the source of the outages: the crystals of the Crystal Caves have been siphoning energy at the behest of Tenaes, a buggy program created by Kevin Flynn to gather and store energy in case of emergency.
