Story:
The story takes place one year after the death of Wulfgar the White, the beloved chieftain of Lokken Island. In the aftermath: Lokken is ruled from its castle by Ragnar Fire‑Hair, Wulfgar’s cruel and ambitious stepbrother Ragnar seeks to legitimize his claim to power by forcing Wulfgar’s widow, Sigrid, into marriage Wulfren, Wulfgar’s son, has been accused of murdering his own father and has vanished The chieftain’s daughter, Laurenna, believes her brother is innocent and still alive. Laurenna, having been banished from the castle, lives alone in a mountain hunting lodge, from which she secretly watches the stronghold and signals to her imprisoned mother.
