Its story takes place 10 years after the events from Gothic 3 and tells about another adventure of the Nameless Hero. The Kingdom of Myrtana needs his help once more! Jharkendar is under the invasion of the Plague of Beliar – the forces of good and evil race each other to uncover the legendary treasury, Golden Gate, which hides uncountable riches and powerful artifacts! On your way, you will meet new companions but also many old friends. Can you find the mysterious treasury before the minions of the Dark God do so?

Story:

Jarkendar - once a completely untouched and forgotten corner of the island of Khorinis, now teems with settlers. Since Raven's death, this land has gone from being unknown to famous. In addition to the existing bandit and pirate camps, a very strong orc camp has formed in the valley, and Water Mages have arrived under Saturas's leadership, this time wishing to explore the interior of the Temple of Adanos. Meanwhile, the pirates have a new, cruel leader, Hannibal. He quickly became the terror of the entire region, even daring to attack Khorinis and burn the port city. To deal with them, a special expedition of paladins under Lord Hagen arrives in Jarkendar. But worst of all, Beliar's hordes are beginning to flow into this land, which has belonged to Adanos for centuries. No one knows the cause, even the Water Mages are completely helpless... The situation is all the more puzzling because the plague of Beliar's creatures began to arrive when one of the local villagers discovered a tablet with ancient inscriptions. Examined by one of the Water Mages, it turned out to be a priceless relic telling of a hidden crypt full of treasures and riches. This crypt was called the Golden Gate. Unfortunately, the tablet mysteriously disappeared the next day... The nameless hero, after returning from Myrtana, where the war had finally ended and peace had reigned, longed to return to Khorinis. He wanted to recall the good old days of his adventures. When he arrived in the city of Khorinis, he learned of the entire situation. Naturally, he decided to set out for Jarkendar...
