Story:
The Arab League of Misfits is a satirical roguelite campaign framed as a pan Arab tournament. Players take on the role of a Misfit traveling across 19 different nations to collect at least 12 Za'eem Balls. Securing these items summons the Arab motherland entity to unite the region and expel the Envoy. The map features three distinct parody blocs including the Za'aatar Coalition, The Oud Cooperation Council, and The Nile and Couscous Accord. The journey forces players to survive localized trials like Cairo traffic jams and Tripoli checkpoints while an ever present chorus of Aunties and Uncles watches the matches to mock or buff competitors mid fight. Card battles turn cultural expressions into tactical weapons against exaggerated regional henchmen and their Za'eem leaders. The node based progression shifts the narrative perspective over time. Defeating bosses strips away stereotypes to reveal the humanity and rich historical roots of each nation. Players rely on humor and cleverness to bridge cultural differences and heal societal fractures.
