About:
This version of NiGHTS Into Dreams is a port of the Saturn version with identical gameplay, but also incorporates the levels included in Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams as a bonus. It also contains the feature from that version where the characters wearing special seasonal clothing during certain holidays. The game offers two graphics modes: a remake mode with updated graphics and a classic SEGA Saturn graphics mode.
Story:
Every night, the dreams of sleeping humans play out across a hidden dream world divided into the joyful realm of Nightopia and the sinister realm of Nightmare. There the wicked ruler Wizeman schemes to steal the glowing spheres of dream energy known as Ideya, hoping to gather enough power to conquer Nightopia and, ultimately, the waking world. To carry out his plans he creates flying servants called Nightmaren, but one of them, the graceful and rebellious Nights, defies him and is imprisoned as punishment. Meanwhile, two troubled teenagers from the city of Twin Seeds, the aspiring singer Claris and the young basketball player Elliot, suffer stinging failures by day and are drawn into Nightopia as they sleep. Discovering they each possess the rare Red Ideya of Courage, they free Nights and join forces with the exiled dreamer. Together they take flight to reclaim the stolen Ideya and stop Wizeman before his darkness spreads.
