About:
A mod is based on the plot and characters of the popular short story "Aluka Miranda" in which the player takes on the role of a young and dreamy apprentice named Bernd. After a year of practice and experience, he returns to Miranda Village. He quickly realizes that life in the countryside flows differently than before. Now he must adapt to this new life while unraveling the dark secrets of an unknown mythology. The game combines adventure elements with arcade elements and is full of puzzles to solve. All character development elements have been removed. The mod incorporates elements of a modern world and has nothing to do with the Gothic story. The latest version of mod from 2019 offers several hours of gameplay and full polish voice over.
Story:
The player takes on the role of Bernd, a naive and idealistic intern who, for reasons unknown, wants to live and work in the Miranda village for a year. However, what appeared in the brochure to be a model alternative care facility turns out to be a collection of technophobic esoterics who spend their days trying to become one with the cosmos and dump all the work on the intern. Since leaving is impossible, the only way out of this predicament is to work his way up into the village's leadership circle. In doing so, Bernd gets closer and closer to a dark secret about his internship, because a few weeks ago, most of the interns vanished without a trace. But nobody in the village seems particularly bothered by this.
