Story

Years after leaving the criminal underworld behind, former yakuza Ichiban Kasuga works at an employment agency in Yokohama, dedicating himself to helping other ex-gangsters find honest, legitimate work and carrying on the legacy of his late father figure. His hard-won stability collapses when a VTuber spreads false rumors that he is building his own crime ring, costing Kasuga and his friends their jobs. As he tries to clear his name amid a sweeping effort to disband Japan's remaining yakuza clans, Kasuga is stunned by a revelation: his biological mother, whom he never knew, is alive and living in Honolulu, Hawaii. Determined to find her, he sets off across the Pacific, a deeply personal journey that will pull him into a sprawling new drama far from home.
