The first out of 4 volumes for Kyokou Eiyuu GinGaia. This tale tells a story, that of a paternal odyssey, the coming of age into fatherhood. Kanbara Hideo lived an ordinary life, surrounded by his wife and kids. However, one day, cast into a world of ruin, a barren wasteland, he encounters a giant kaiju. Run, Hideo, Run. What appeared infront of him, was a mysterious robot... Oh how typical! Oh how orthodox. A lovely heroic tale. But, this was no orthodox hero journey. There was no room for hopes and dreams here...
