About:
Heirs of Heaven is a story-driven post-apocalyptic adventure about a young boy searching for his missing father in a world consumed by infection. The virus, created in a failed scientific pursuit of immortality, has turned humanity into the very thing it feared most the undead. As the boy ventures through the ruins of civilization, he unravels the dark truth behind the outbreak and humanity’s fatal desire to defy death.
Story:
In a world consumed by famine and chaos, the promise of salvation became humanity’s greatest curse. Scientists, obsessed with conquering death, sought to create a cure for mortality itself but instead, they unleashed a virus that devoured the world. The infection spread faster than anyone could contain it, turning people into monstrous shadows of their former selves. Cities fell, governments collapsed, and the few who survived were left to wander through the ruins of what was once civilization. Amid this desolation lives Mate, a brave young boy from a hidden mountain community, one of the last safe havens untouched by the virus. His father, John, a scientist driven by guilt and hope, vanished months ago while searching for a rumored cure on a distant island. When Mate discovers evidence of his father’s journey, he makes a choice that will change everything: to leave his mother behind and follow the path into the heart of the infected world. His quest leads him through collapsed cities, forgotten tunnels, and survivor outposts ruled by desperation. Along the way, Mate encounters the Medical Workers, a fanatical group of scientists determined to perfect the virus and rebuild humanity in their image. As he uncovers the truth about his father’s disappearance and the horrifying purpose of the cure, Mate begins to question what it really means to save the world and whether some things are better left buried.
