About:
EXOVORE is a dual-stick space horror shoot’em-up inspired by the legendary Sinistar. Mine asteroids for energy, forge powerful weapons and battle through swarms of biomechanical nightmares as a colossal alien intelligence awakens to destroy you. It starts out nice and slow, giving you a chance to learn the controls and upgrade your ship. But the action and complexity builds with each level.
Story:
Humanity has touched the stars - but at great cost. In our greed for precious rocks, we reached too far into the cosmos and awakened an ancient evil that should be left to sleep. A species of cosmic horror - the EXOVORE - now threatens our very existence. As we plunder its home for the gems we need for energy, EXOVORE eggs hatch to protect its territory. But without energy, humanity is doomed to slip into darkness.
