Story:
Atelier Sophie 2 continues the adventures of the alchemist Sophie and her companion Plachta. After leaving Sophie's hometown of Kirchen Bell, the pair discovers a huge tree identical to one Plachta had seen in a dream. As they draw closer, a mysterious vortex pulls them inside, and Sophie awakens alone in a curious new world called Erde Wiege. There she soon hears of an alchemist named Plachta living on the outskirts of town, but when she arrives at the atelier she instead meets a young alchemy enthusiast who shares the name yet does not recognize her. As her search continues, Sophie meets an aspiring alchemist named Ramizel Erlenmeyer, who agrees to help her in her time of need.
