About:
The second entry in the Atelier "Dusk" series. Escha & Logy work together in Central City's Colseit branch with their skills in Synthesizing & Imbuing for their R&D Division's assignments to investigate areas affected by the Dusk. Learn about Colseit and its relationship to The Unexplored Ruins to uncover the truth of the Dusk. This entry introduces a Synthesis system that constantly utilize Synthesis Skills bound to Element Points while rechecking steps until players reach a satisfactory possible result, as well as a Turn-based Battle system with 3 front & rear pairs with its own designated position while all 6 party members are able to participate in one turn by increasing the Support Gauge.
Story:
The Dusk has affected this world several times and is now on the verge of ruin. In the western reaches of the Land of Dusk, there exists a nation that has prospered through its use of alchemy. In order to survive the inevitable arrival of being swallowed by the Dusk, people devote efforts into rediscovering the relics of past alchemy. Research on alchemy of previous eras is conducted in a place called "Central City," with the goal to rediscover techniques in order to halt the Dusk's progression. In this small town on the outskirts called "Colseit," two alchemists whose knowledge on the old and new age of alchemy cross paths. The girl's name is Escha. Her synthesis skills with the cauldron comes from her late mother and dedicated her life to serve the community she grew up in with dreams from skies above. The boy's name is Logy. His imbuing knowledge comes from his studies from Central City and currently seeks to live in different working conditions due to unfulfilled dreams in the city. After being assigned to the Colseit branch's Research & Development team, these two alchemists meet. As they send their dreams up into the Dusk Sky, these two work together to carry out assignments using their alchemy skills and to investigate relics, which leads to new knowledge tied between stories of the past and present.
